Tisno
Tisno
Tisno was founded, as the result of the inhabitants' escape from the Turkish people, in the north-east part of Murter, where the island came nearest to the land. In the beginning of the 18th century on that spot they built a bridge which joined the island of Murter with the land, thus the place starts to spread over the land. Already in 1832 an old bridge was replaced by a new, movable one.
